Innovator and developer
Joffrey has worked as a senior developer, specialising in creative and interactive projects, including early domotics (smart home) solutions. His work in emerging technologies, combined with a passion for consumer protection, naturally evolved into his current mission: making online marketplaces safer for everyone.
Business development and partnerships lead
Alan has a background in customer service, sales, and technical support. He spent the last 7 years working with major supermarkets, banks, and credit card providers on carbon footprinting projects, sometimes as part of a small project team working directly with these major international clients.
Interim CTO
Alex is a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect, an expert in developing and implementing strategic IT roadmaps and solutions to transform and improve data-related capabilities. He conducts detailed technical analysis to identify and resolve business problems by designing and implementing cutting-edge systems and infrastructure.
Lead developer
Senior database engineer, skilled in ETL, Big Data, Python, Hadoop, Hive, AWS, Airflow, Shell scripting, and Spark. Bachelor's degree in Computer Application, pursuing BSc in data science from The Open University.
Office manager and case officer (not yet hired)
Becca has worked in several office manager and high-pressure sales roles, primarily in the fitness industry. However, with degrees in psychology and forensics and with a love of maths, they are looking to move into a more analytical role.
Academic advisor
Based in the Dept. of Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech, Alan researches text analytic techniques for detecting product safety concerns. Senior Editor of Decision Support Systems; published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in journals.
Accountant
Chartered accountant turned founder with years of experience in some of Europe's fastest-growing businesses. Specialises in providing fractional Head of Finance and CFO services for founder-led tech companies.
Legal counsel
Legal support for fine-tuning templated employment and sales contracts and ensuring that public claims about online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay are not vulnerable to accusations of false claims.
