The product presents a high risk of injuries as moving parts and linkages are accessible by hand, including the motor cage which is accessible when the cover is easily removed. If a user were to catch a body part in the unguarded moving parts they could receive serious injuries. Also, the bolts holding the sander to the base were loose and will become undone with the vibration of the device. This could result in the user losing control of the machinery and suffering injuries.
