The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and is too small for a standard UK socket. The live and neutral pins were found to be less than 9.5mm from edge, which allows access to live parts. This may result in the user receiving an electric shock when removing or inserting the plug from the socket. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
