The product presents a serious risk of fire as the the mains plug was not fitted with a fuse link which conforms to BS 1362. If a fault were to occur with the product, the fuse does not work and therefore the plug could explode from the wall, causing a fire. There was also a single insulation mains potential wiring in contact with unearthed accessible metallic parts, presenting an electric shock hazard. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
