The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of suffocation, overheating and death when used as directed on the Amazon website. Pillows and soft toys are advised not to be placed in the sleep space for babies under the age of one year as their presence increases the risk of overheating and airway obstruction, which have been associated with sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). The pillow can also obstruct the user’s airways when the baby is strapped in, causing them to suffocate.
