The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the plug is counterfeit. The plug is too small for a standard UK socket and the plug pins are too close to the periphery of the plug. If the user plugs in the item, they could therefore receive an electric shock if touching the pins. There were no instructions supplied with the product to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment. The electrical equipment had also not been marked with the name, trademark, or other means for the identification of the manufacturer as required by the regulation.
