The product presents a serious risk of injuries as it is possible to reach moving parts of the machine which can cause injury. The Thera 650 Inox automatic meat packaging machine (serial number 3491) has a set of long cutting blades where access is restricted from below by the design of the machine, from above by an interlocked guard and from upstream by an interlocked guard. Access was possible from downstream via the opening in the adjoining fixed guard and interlocked guard above the blades. The opening is intended to allow egress of the sealed and cut trays.
