The product also failed the electric strength test, as the insulation broke down when the 3000 V test voltage was applied between the live input and accessible metal parts. The instructions supplied with the product were considered inadequate as they did not contain adequate information to ensure that the equipment could be correctly and safely installed, used, and maintained.
