The product presents a high risk of electric shock and fire as although the heating element was fitted with a device to interrupt power in response to abnormal operation temperature, the fan motor continued to operate until the item ceased functioning in a non-controlled manner. While the product is plugged in and switched on, if it were to be placed down on a surface blocking the air intake, the product could overheat. As there is no safety device to isolate power in the event of overheating, the product may catch fire.
