The product presents a high risk of fire. There is insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input, circuits and low voltage output circuits. There is no over current protection device fitted to the mains input circuit and the live and neutral pins are too short and close to the periphery of the plug. If there was a surge in current or a fault with the drill, the plug could explode and cause a fire. The product also required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation.
