Recorded hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the pins on the plug were not compatible with a BS 1363 socket and the pins are too close to the periphery of the plug. This could result in the consumer receiving an electric shock whilst inserting or removing the plug from the socket. The instructions were considered to be inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
