In the absence of evidence of appropriate conformity assessment, there is an unacceptable risk that the product may act as an ignition source during intended use, which could lead to fire and explosion. The product does not therefore meet the requirements of The Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2016 (ATEX).
