The product poses a serious chemical risk as the black material of the hopper exceed the phthalates limits. The plastic material from the hopper contains 42.04 +/- 2.56% DIBP (Diisobutyl phthalate) and therefore exceeds the specified maximum limit of 0.1% by mass of the plasticised material. Phthalates can potentially harm children’s health either via cancer or non-cancer effect and may cause the child to have long term health implications.
