The product presents a risk of electric shock as it has inadequate protection. The cover on the flasher unit was easily removed without the use of a tool, which gave access to live parts. The plug fitted to this sample was a non-UK type plug. It had not been fitted with a suitable conversion plug, which presents a further risk of electric shock to the user. There product was not supplied with any instructions to ensure the safe and correct assembly, installation, use and maintenance of the equipment.
