The product presents a risk of electric shock as the transformer failed to comply with the minimum creepage distance requirements of 2.5mm for basic insulation. The distance measurement was found to be 2.3mm between the earth pin terminal pad and the mains line track on the PCB. Also, the product features a noncompliant UK plug and cord set not meeting dimensional requirements of the standard and has an insulated earth plug pin, which is prohibited. The CE marking, as well as other documentation and markings were not present.
