Recorded hazard
The products present a high risk of fire as the battery packs do not have adequate Battery Management Systems (BMS) to protect the product from overcharging, overheating and igniting. The battery packs also had an offload voltage greatly exceeding the voltage stated on the rating plate. The instructions provided did not contain adequate storage, disposal, and charging information. The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
