FOLO-UP Product Recall: 2411-0068 Mammut Barryvox 2 and Barryvox S2 Avalanche Transceivers
Two models of avalanche transceiver sold individually and as part of packages. An avalanche transceiver is a lifesaving instrument used to locate individuals buried in avalanches. It transmits and receives signals to quickly and accurately determine the position of those buried.

The products present a risk of entrapment and injuries as it has been identified that a malfunction can occur due to an assembly issue. The main switch on the affected devices may be misaligned, leading to unintentional switching from send to search mode with lateral pressure, or possibly even turning the device off completely. This malfunction can therefore result in no additional aid in the search and rescue process in the case of an avalanche.
