The product presents a serious risk of electric shock. The mains cable can be connected to the pump in reverse, allowing the live pin to connect to the earth pin and causing accessible metal parts to become live.

An installed pump can remain in operation, but you must take care not to handle affected pumps as there is a serious risk of electrocution. If you think you have an affected Tucson circulating pump installed in your premises, contact Tucson immediately via email atproductsafety@tucsonpumps.ieor phone +(44) 800 044 3258 to arrange for a replacement pump to be installed. The affected pumps can be identified by the serial number (S/N) on the label affixed to the pump as indicated above. The Product Replacement Programme is free of charge. Installed units should only be replaced by an approved Tucson technician or Tucson service agent.
