The product presents a serious risk of entrapment, as the detachable toys included fabric loops sewn into the side of one of the seams. The loops were large enough that a young child could easily insert their finger into them and twist, causing injuries. The product also presents a risk of asphyxiation as the ends of the baby gym legs are noncompliant, fitting through Template A. To a child who cannot sit up unaided, the component poses a potential risk of asphyxiation/impaction through internal airway obstruction.
