The product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug does not meet the requirements of BS 1363 as the pins are too short and the sleeved pins have a distinct step, which could cause damage to the socket. Over time if the pins wear down, the connectors on the socket could overheat and the plug could catch fire and burn the user.
