Recorded hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as due to inadequate electric strength and creepage distances. When tested, the creepage distance on the UK plug adaptor was measured as 1.10mm, below the required minimum of 2.5mm. Also, when electric strength tests were performed and a test voltage of 2500 V was applied to the PCB, a breakdown occurred. Some of the required documentation and markings were missing and the CE symbol was not the correct size.
