The product poses a serious risk of electric shock as when assessed the equipment was found to be supplied with a clover shaped plug which does not have the facility for a fuse link (i.e. a plug fuse) and the distance between the pins and the edge of the plug is too short. The plug did not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard (BS 1363). Additionally, the product was not fully compliant with the marking requirements of the relevant standard.
