Recorded hazard
The product poses a risk of choking & chemical burn as it contains easily accessible button batteries. When the drop test was carried out on the peacock, the two halves opened up so that the inner button cells, enclosed in their casing, were accessible. The button cells could be pulled out from the compartment without the aid of tools and fitted wholly inside the small parts cylinder. If a button cell is swallowed, it can result in serious internal chemical burns and damage to the gastrointestinal tract.
