The product presents a risk of strangulation as it has decorative cords around the neck which exceed the maximum permissible length. While worn, the cord may become entangled and tighten across the child’s neck, leading to strangulation. There are also decorative cords on the sleeves, which could cause a child to become entangled and trip. The product mask also presents a risk of burns, as flammability testing indicated that the duration of flaming exceeded permissible limits.
