It is possible that over fuelling of the combustion chamber may occur, leading to a chamber temperature beyond intended design parameters. This over fuelling leads to flames extending through the front radiation plate, and during prolonged use, the front radiation plate may be subject to thermal fatigue leading to embrittlement and failure of the radiation plate. The failure of this plate exposes the interior of the combustion chamber and ultimately leads to an open flame and hot material potentially discarded on the ground in front of the unit.
