The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to it’s poor mechanical strength. When impact tests were performed, the black plastic casing broke open giving users access to the printed circuit board (PCB). This could result in the user touching a live part and receiving an electric shock. The product also failed electric strength tests as when a 2,500 test voltage was applied, a breakdown occurred on the PCB. The creepage distance on both the DC output and the plug pins we’re measured as zero, below the distance required.
