The toy poses a serious risk of choking as when tested according to the impact test the maracas broke, releasing the marbles which fit entirely within the small parts cylinder. A young child may place the marbles into their mouth and choke. The strap of the drum intended to be worn fully around the neck forms a fixed loop which has no breakaway feature, which poses a strangulation hazard to young children.
