Country of Origin
China
Risk Level: High
The product presents a high risk of injuries as it has space for two riders, but the foot plate for the second rider, or passenger, is too close to the pedals. This could lead to the passenger and rider becoming entangled and losing control of the bicycle. The front mud guard is also incorrectly positioned, and improvements are required to the product labelling and marking. The product is also sold with a plug that does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363, has no capacity for a fuse and is incompatible with a UK plug socket.
Corrective Action
The import has been rejected at the border.
