- The product presents a serious risk of fire the plug fuse does not conform to the requirements of BS 1362. The fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the plug under fault conditions, and a non-conforming fuse could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. The product also failed to cut off under restricted airflow testing, emitted excessive amounts of smoke and interior components began to melt.
