Whistle Professional gives authorised FOLO-UP staff and customer teams an authenticated report profile, remotely retained follow-up, and controlled access for higher-volume operational reporting. It uses the same current 0.7.0 Chrome and Edge codebase as Whistle Public.
Professional is issued individually. It is not a public download and an access key must never be shared, published, committed to source control or sent in a support screenshot.
Controlled operational access
After server validation, the Public application-level hourly quota is removed. Listing-level duplicate controls, infrastructure protection and misuse safeguards continue to apply.
Shared six-state signal model
Professional uses the same count-led Grey, Yellow, Orange and Red indicators as Public. Human review replaces the count with Green OK or Black NO while keeping the earlier report history visible. Accepted reports also record the Whistle version and edition without retaining the raw installation identifier or access key.

The colour answers “what stage has this listing reached?” The number is an accepted report count, not a risk score or finding. Only a controlled human review can produce OK or NO.
Public and Professional serve different follow-up needs
Both editions submit a good-faith concern for human review. Neither edition makes a safety, authenticity or legal determination.

Install the latest issued Professional beta
Current version 0.7.0 is the same for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Professional is not a public download: an authorised user receives the Professional package and an individual access key through the controlled access process.
- Extract the issued ZIP completely and keep the folo-up-whistle-professional folder in a permanent location. Confirm that manifest.json is directly inside that folder.
- Open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions, enable Developer mode and choose Load unpacked.
- For a later beta, extract the new package separately, then replace all files inside the existing permanent folder. Keep the folder path unchanged and do not mix files from different versions.
- Select Reload on the extension card, refresh the marketplace listing and verify Professional access in Settings.
Access is pseudonymous, not anonymous to the entitlement.
The raw Professional key is held in that browser and sent over HTTPS for validation. The intake database stores the non-secret entitlement label with the report, not the raw key. Raw installation and session identifiers are transformed with a protected server secret; only the resulting fingerprints are retained.
- Do not include a key in email or screenshots.
- Report a lost or exposed key for revocation and rotation.
- Professional access does not replace official or emergency reporting.
