The product presents a risk of electric shock due to multiple safety issues. The item was not accompanied by instructions and safety information. The mains plug module did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363.
The breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits did not meet the insulation requirements set by the Standard for Class II equipment.
There was insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits for Class II equipment and there was no safety fusible resistor fitted to the mains input circuit.
