The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the appliance was inadequately earthed and the clamping means was not adequately secured against accidental loosening. The cord set did not comply with BSEN 60799 and The plug on this sample failed to comply with BS1363-1 as the dimensions of the sleeved parts of the pins differed from the metal parts of the pins.
