The fuse does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard (BS1362), the endcaps were insecurely fixed (push-on) and the fused contained no granular filler (required to ensure the safe operation of the fuse under fault conditions). The plug itself is considered to be counterfeit and did not comply with the relevant standard (BS1363-1).
