The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to a number of construction issues relating to the product and power supply. The product was not adequately earthed, which presents a risk under fault conditions and can cause certain parts of the product to become live. The breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits of the installed LED driver also did not meet the insulation requirements, leading to the potential of shortcircuiting. The product also had insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits of the installed LED driver, and there was no secondary security fitted to the earth terminal to prevent from accidental loosening. The product also required improvements to labelling, marking and instructions.

The product has been destroyed at the border.
