The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it was found to have a counterfeit plug and fuse. The live pin on the plug measured only 17 millimetres, below the required length of 17.2mm to 18.2mm and there was no approval certificate for the plug. The end cap on the fuse could be removed by hand and did not contain and ballast. There was also no approval certificate for the fuse. The external build quality was found to be poor as live parts could be accessed by hand and when the product was bent, the rear cover came off. The internal build quality also required improvement and featured poor quality soldering with connections made using crimped connectors that could be removed by hand. Some of the required documentation and markings were also missing.
