The manufacturer (3M) identified a number of the Organic Gas and Vapour 6059 ABEK1 filters have damage to the filter casing resulting in potential reduced gas and vapour and/or particulate performance when tested to the performance requirements of EN 14387:2004 and A1:2008.

Corrective Action

This product is subject to a product recall by the manufacturer and users have been asked to check if they possess any of the 3M™ 6059 Series Organic Gas and Vapour filters from the batches identified and stop use immediately and remove them from service and inventory.
