- The product presents a serious risk of fire and electric shock due to inadequate earthing. The earth connection broke after 15 seconds as it was not adequately fastened and needed to be tightened. Upon testing, it was evident that the crimp had not grabbed onto the wire completely and appeared to be an incomplete crimp termination. This could present a hazard of fire as it is a resistive joint which can cause high temperatures.
