The product was also deemed to have inadequate earthing as the clamping means was not adequately secured against accidental loosening and the contact surfaces were not bare metal. Under fault conditions this could result in accessible metal parts becoming live, causing the user to receive an electric shock. The instructions were deemed inadequate and some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
