- The product presents a serious risk of fire as the insulation on the product’s plug was found to be inadequate. This could cause the plug to overheat and ignite under fault conditions. The plug pins do not meet the requirements of the relevant standard as the live and neutral pins were found to be less than 9.5mm from the edge of the plug, exposing the user to an electric shock hazard. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
