The product presents a risk of injuries as if the pushchair is unfolded in the ‘parent facing’ position and the backrest is put in a horizontal position without first being adjusted to a fully upright position (as specified in the user instructions), the backrest will not be properly secured. This will then cause the backrest to move past its intended stopping point when the child is placed on the seat. This could potentially lead to a risk of injury.

Corrective Action

The product was recalled by Bugaboo in June 2023. Products currently for sale via authorised Bugaboo distribution channels, and products purchased since June 2023, are unaffected.
